Dr. Leanna Miller has 34 years of experience in such critical care roles as staff nurse, assistant nurse manager, clinical nurse educator, clinical nurse specialist, and critical care nurse practitioner. She has worked in a variety of critical care and emergency settings including MICU, CCU, Trauma ICU, SICU, Neuro ICU, Cardio-Vascular ICU and ED. She holds a Baccalaureate and Master’s degrees in Nursing and has published numerous articles. She also lectures extensively on a variety of critical care topics. Her current position is as an Education Specialist for LRM Consulting in Nashville, TN. Leanna is one of the most engaging speakers you’ll ever hear excelling in presenting sophisticated subject matter in a professional, often humorous, and most importantly, memorable way.
Kelsey Halbert RN BSN SCRN CNRN
Kelsey Halbert RN BSN SCRN CNRN worked for several years in the Neuroscience ICU as a Clinical Nurse at Yale New Haven Hospital in Connecticut. He is now a Nurse Navigator for the Stroke Program at Yale New Haven. He has spoken locally and regionally and has been a presenter at national conferences for the Neuro Critical Care Society and the American Association of Neuroscience Nurses (AANN). He has published articles in the Journal of Neuroscience Nursing and in Currents Magazine. Kelsey received a Diploma in Nursing from University of Pittsburg Shadyside School of Nursing and a BSN from Sacred Heart University in Fairfield Connecticut, where he is currently enrolled in the MSN Clinical Nurse Leader program. Kelsey has 10 years of nursing experience and is a member of numerous nursing organizations.
Carol Lynn Esposito, Ed.D., JD, MS, RN
Dr. Carol Lynn Esposito is the Director of Nursing Education and Practice for the NY State Nurses Association (NYSNA), the past Director of Labor Education for NYSNA, and an attorney with over 15 years of experience in organizing and educating unionized nurses on how to develop leadership skills, build power in their workplaces, and make real improvements in their living/working conditions. She has authored many articles on such topics as Informed Consent, Malpractice Insurance, Transcultural Nursing, and Nursing Ethics and has developed course and text materials for numerous organizations
Jessica Wilson RN, BSN, CCRN
Jessica Wilson RN, BSN, CCRN has been a practicing nurse in the Hudson Valley for 16 years. She has worked in the critical care setting for 12 of those years at the Hudson Valley Health Alliance in Kingston NY where she works as a CCRN in the hospital’s Med-Surg ICU. Jessica is a graduate of the Mount Saint Mary’s baccalaureate program in Nursing. She is passionate about providing quality, evidence-based care to her patients and she enjoys sharing her clinical experiences and stories. She has served on multiple Shared Governance Councils in her hospital system, improving patient safety and strengthening the role of the bedside nurse through education, quality improvement initiatives and mentoring.
