WEDNESDAY EVENING - MAY 9, 2012 

One of the positive "complaints" about the FOCUS conference has been that we provide so much entertainment each night, that attendees don't always have an opportunity to fully explore the city they're visiting. This year, then, we are not scheduling any entertainment functions on the night before the conference (Wednesday night, May 9th, 2012. Visit the Nashville website (see button at left) to check out the many things to do in this amazing city !!! Attendees staying at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel also get to enjoy the hotel's free shuttle bus service to such Nashville attractions as the famous Wild Horse Saloon in the center of the city.

 

THURSDAY - MAY 10, 2012 

4th Annual FOCUS 5-K Fun Run/Walk - 7am - 8:15am

Focus will be holding a 5-K run/walk assembling and starting at the Delta Portico of the Gaylord Opryland Resort on the morning of May 10th, 2012 for interested registered attendees and their registered significant-others age 18 or over. The race will be professionally conducted. There will be a 1st place ($100), 2nd place ($50) and 3rd place ($25) prize awarded in both categories, that is, for runners and for walkers and also separately, for men and women (12 prizes in total). All participants will receive a commemorative T-shirt as well. You must pre-register for the race on the conference registration form and also provide your t-shirt size.

Opening Exhibit Hall Reception 5pm - 7:30pm

Grand Ole Opry Show     8pm - 11pm

What a way to visit this American institution. FOCUS has procured the entire Grand Ole Opry Music Hall for a private variety show featuring country, southern rock, bluegrass and comedy. It's an evening you won't want to miss, and this year, not only is your ticket included in your registration fee, but Focus is allowing all registered attendees to bring their family members - free of charge !

 

FRIDAY - May 11, 2012

Closing Exhibit Hall Reception 5pm - 8pm

Tonight's the night you definitely don't want to miss! We'll start our evening with
a second fabulous reception in the exhibit hall where again, there will be
plenty of free Hors D'Oeuvres, beer, wine and soft drinks. Then, at 8:00pm,
we'll pick the grand prize winner of the 2012 Ford Focus (or $10,000 cash).
