Focus has arranged for the Association of Asthma Educators (AAE) to bring back their Becoming an Asthma Educator workshop to the Focus Conference once again this year. This excellent six-hour course was totally "sold out" last year and was highly praised by all those who attended it. The course uses didactic, demonstration and problem-based case study teaching methods presented by one of the nation's most renowned asthma educators and lecturers, Dr. Benjamin Francisco PhD, AE-C. Numerous past attendees of this workshop have found it to be an excellent prep for the examination that leads to the Certified Asthma Educator (AE-C) credential.

The program provides 6 Contact Hours approved for Nurses. The fee for this pre-conference workshop is $250 which includes a CD of all materials, lunch and an afternoon refreshment break.
